Christie R. Beddow, MS, CCC-SLP

Christie has had a passion for helping individuals with special needs all her life.  After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Harding University in 2001, Christie earned her Master’s degree and completed her training to become a Speech and Language Pathologist at the University of Arkansas in 2003. She then moved to Abilene, Texas, where she completed her clinical fellowship and received her certification as a speech therapist in 2005. After working with children with a broad range of speech needs for 2 years, Christie lived and worked with a small team of missionaries in the Czech Republic for 7 years, planting a church and co-founding a community center for at-risk youth. Since moving back to the States, Christie has provided speech services to adults with developmental delays for the State of Tennessee, and also has served school aged children with speech and language needs. In addition to her work as a speech therapist, Christie serves as the middle school minister for Donelson Church of Christ in Nashville.
